3 Inches of Blood - Destroy the Orcs

True story the first time I saw 3 Inches of Blood one of the bands on my label were opening for them at this club. It was kind of an odd line up because the band opening was pop punkish with ska. The other band playing were similar. Then 3 Inches was this crazy power metal band. I also think it might have been a Sunday night. Either way there was no one there. Maybe us and the other local band. 3 Inches came out and played like they were in a stadium. I think maybe halfway into the third song one of the guitarists got smoked in the head with another guitar and began to pour blood from his forehead. The band finished the set and I believe he went and got stitches after the show.If not he should have, there was a lot of blood.  It was rad! I’m glad they got famous.

Got this album for Christmas…pretty killer thrash album from Denmark. It also has maybe the worst album art ever. I’m hoping to see some hipster with this tattooed on their back because they were so metal.
